CHICAGO IN 2020

 

A partnership between the University of Rhode Island and National Louis University will enable us to build upon our success. 

 

Through collaboration, the program will reach new audiences with its innovative approach to professional development and partners will work to advance new research examining the impact of digital literacy on learning.

RYAN MCCARTY

Ryan McCarty is an assistant professor at National Louis University in Chicago, Illinios.  A former principal coach and literacy coordinator, he directs the North Shore Reading Center and works to help Latinx students excel in advanced coursework.  His research interests include guided inquiry using multimodal texts and argumentative writing. 

National Louis University is one of the oldest and most progressive universities in Chicago, offering more than 60 degree programs to students of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their personal and professional goals.  At the National College of Education, faculty receives funding and support to develop new methods of reaching students and strengthening the teaching profession.
